Repeat after me…
Use these fun facts to look like a genius, just make their dropping as natural as possible.
What to say when your hotel reservation was for Thursday not Saturday…
Looks like I’m not the only one who got the wrong day. Two members of the Continental Congress only signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4th. July 2nd was the day that John Adams wrote “Ought to be solemnized with Pomp and Parade, with Shews, Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations from one End of this Continent to the other from this Time forward forever more.” If you want to go into #roundtwo celebrate the 2nd of August, it is the day most of the signers put the pen to paper.
What to say to your friend who gets arrested on Independence Day…
Well that’s ironic. As is the fact that a vast majority of U.S flags are made in China and imported to wave around the yard. The value is about $3.5 million dollars, or in Chinese Yuan, that would be 21.7 million (Better start learning your conversions now, MAO is coming)
What to say to the cutie at the ketchup stand…
Nice to meaty you, and I hope you enjoy your BBQ fare, along with the other 64% of the country who will also partake in outdoor grilling.
Happy Fourth Everyone!
